Fifth-seeded St. Regis Lady Tigers marched through 14C District play to face third-seeded Charlo in the championship game on Saturday night in Pablo. They landed in second place after a loss, 37-17. The Tigers surprised the top-seeded team, Plains, on Friday with a win, 44-36.

The Tigers also won against Noxon on Thursday, 37-28. Crowds were surprised when Charlo defeated the No. 2 seed, Arlee in the first semifinal with a 46-24 win.

The Tigers had one more hurdle to jump over before making a trip to divisionals in Hamilton next week. They were scheduled to play Arlee in a challenge game on Monday, Feb. 19, in Pablo at 6 p.m.

Meanwhile, the St. Regis boys team faced Plains on Thursday with a loss, 61-16. They then played Hot Springs on Friday and lost, 68-34 with loser out.
