Clark Fork Mountain Cats Superior senior Kenzie Mueller and Madison Mask, a junior, were named to the Class C all-state volleyball team from western Montana, while Alberton senior Montanna Baughman was selected as second team all-conference.

The trio helped the Cats take second place during Western 13C Districts last month in Missoula. This took the team to Divisionals where they lost out to Arlee and Twin Bridges.

“I’m very proud of them,” said head coach Toni Labbe. “It’s an honor (to be selected) because they were voted in by other coaches. The girls put a lot of work into this season.”

There is not an actual all-state volleyball game played like football and basketball but Labbe said she would love to see them have the opportunity to play in an all-state game.
