Why use Mineral Community Hospital?

You’re familiar with slogans supporting use of local businesses, right? “Support Your Local Businesses”; “Your Local Merchants are your Tax-Paying Neighbors. Buy Local!”, etc. Communities all over the country are running campaigns like this to support “Main Street” businesses. These campaigns exist because there is wide recognition that “Main Street” contributes far more to a community than place to obtain a product or service.

When you voted to help Mineral Community hospital 2 years ago, you made it clear that you recognize the importance of our hospital. We are a “Main Street” business that needs your support. Our ‘store’ has many of the same services you’ll find in Missoula but you save the time and cost of the drive. Certainly MCH can’t fill your shopping cart (all-health care needs) with everything, but when it comes to Lab work, Imaging (X-ray, MRI, CT and Ultrasound) and Physical Therapy, we have you covered! You can support us regardless of where ever your doctor is when they prescribe these services simply by saying, “Thanks. I’ll have this done at my hospital in Superior”. It is your right to have them done here, you won’t encounter the wait and will receive more personal attention because MCH is smaller and appointments are extremely fast.

The MCH Emergency Room offers that same advantage: rarely is there EVER a wait for medical treatment and this is particularly important in an emergency. Important concepts in emergency medicine are the the “Golden Hour” and “Platinium 15 Minutes”, time frames that make a huge difference in outcomes. Even if the patient ultimately needs to be transferred, early stabilization and care is not only lightning fast, but also extremely important to the ultimate outcome. Right here. Right now. At the hospital that you helped and which is anxious to support you in return. Your use of our services helps keep the doors open at the only 24/7 medical facility between Missoula and Shoshone, ID.

Come to our Health Fair to learn much more about their medical services, bond to the community and impact on the economy and health of Mineral County. The MCH Health Fair will take place May 20th from 9am to noon at the Superior Elementary School Gymnasium.
