Mineral Co. girls earn All-State honors

Fourteen girls were announced for the 2016-17 Western C Girls All-State selection in basketball. Including Superior’s athlete, junior Kenzie Mueller received first team all-conference and first team all-state. St. Regis senior, Madison Hill also received all-state. Other St. Regis girls awarded was not available by press time.

Alberton freshman, Samantha Cleenger received second team all-conference, Superior’s Madison Mask and Hailey Kelly got second team all-conference.

These Mineral County girls joined the following list of girls for this year’s All-State selection:

Madison Hill, 12, Saint Regis

Carly Hergett, 12, Arlee

Cheyenne Nagy, 12, Charlo

Alyssia Vanderburg, 10, Arlee
